Qatar Fuel (Woqod) has reopened the fixed petrol station in Onaiza area after renovation and expansion. A new mobile station has also been opened in Al Mearad area, Woqod said in a statement. Onaiza petrol station is spread over an area of 3,900 sq. metres and has four lanes with 12 dispensers instead of the earlier four dispensers with two lanes, Woqod CEO Saad Rashid Al Muhannadi said.
Woqod’s fixed petrol stations offer round-the-clock services and include Sidra convenience stores and sale of LPG cylinders, in addition to the sale of gasoline and diesel products for light vehicles. “The reopening of Onaiza petrol station is part of Woqod’s plan to operate 30 new petrol stations during 2019,” Al Muhannadi said. Woqod aims to achieve a target of 134 fuel stations by the end of next year.
