DOHA: The General Directorate of Drug Enforcement at the Ministry of Interior seized 29 kg of hashish and 10.2 kg of methamphetamine and arrested three Asian accused.
As the directorate received information about some people being involved in drug trafficking, a search and investigation team was formed immediately. The investigation verified the information and a plan developed to arrest the accused.
After obtaining permission of the Public Prosecution, the team arrested the accused and seized the drugs in their possession. The accused were referred to the competent authorities for further legal procedures.
