DOHA: Sheikha Lamia Al Thani has supported the Orphan Care Center (Dreama) with a number of iPads, as part of a humanitarian initiative to care and support the children of Dreama.
The Social Services Department at Dreama appreciated the initiative of Sheikha Lamia Al Thani.
The initiative will help Dreama provide high-quality services to children in Qatar, specially in the educational and technological aspects, and work to empower them and integrate them into society.
It will also enhance the professional and life capabilities of orphan children in accordance with international standards in preparation for their empowerment in all educational, professional, sports, and artistic fields.
This support also strengthened the center’s efforts to ensure the stability of this category and enhance their confidence. The Social Services Department appreciated the role of companies and individuals in supporting the most in need social categories in fulfilment of their moral obligation to implement social responsibility, which expresses social solidarity in order to reach the principles of compassion and mutual assistance to achieve the interest of the beneficiary categories.
Sheikha Lamia Al Thani expressed her hope that this support will contribute to providing educational assistance to the children of Dreama so that they can get an opportunity that can be properly invested to help them meet their personal and educational needs, besides the continuous development of their capabilities and abilities.
