Qatar Indian Thawheed Centre (QITC), a socio-cultural forum of Tamil-speaking Muslim expatriates, in cooperation with the Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC), recently organised their 33rd Blood Donation Campaign at th HMC Blood Donor Unit.
While 150 members of the forum took part in the three-hour campaign, 87 donated blood after successfully passing the required tests, according to the established practice. The forum, which has been organising various activities for the community for the last 17 years at its headquarters in Al Thumama, held the camp at the HMC Blood Donor Unit owing to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic and in line with the directives of the Ministry of Public Health in this regard.
