Qatar Islamic Bank (QIB) has been recognised as the ‘Best Islamic Financial Institution in Qatar’ and `Best Islamic Financial Institution in Sudan’ by New York-based Global Finance magazine.
QIB group Chief Executive Bassel Gamal said the bank’s strategy is closely tied with Qatar National Vision 2030, the government’s commitment to investing in the country’s infrastructure, the diversification of the economy and the development of a strong private sector. QIB has shown steady financial growth for the past years and has introduced innovative Shariah-compliant financial solutions.
