DOHA: The Ministry of Public Health on Thursday recorded 206 new cases of coronavirus with 232 people recovering from the virus in the last 24 hours, bringing to 117,978 the total number of people recovered in Qatar.
Of the 206 new cases, 194 are community cases and 12 of travellers returning from abroad. The total number of positive Covid-19 cases recorded in Qatar is 121,052 with 2,869 active cases under treatment. So far, 205 people have died from coronavirus in Qatar.
The Ministry conducted 4,071 tests in the last 24 hours, taking to 676,170 the total tests done till date. There are 50 cases of hospital admissions in the last 24 hours, taking to 393 the total number of patients in hospital.
Three patients were admitted to intensive care due to health complications resulting from infection with the virus, bringing to 47 the total number of cases receiving treatment in intensive care.
