DOHA: The Ministry of Public Health on Wednesday recorded 292 new COVID-19 cases while 303 people recovered from the virus in the last 24 hours. This brings to 110,627 the number of patients who have recovered. 

Two people, aged 40 and 86, under medical care, died from the virus. All new cases have been placed in isolation and are receiving necessary healthcare according to their health status. 

The total number of COVID-19 positive cases recorded in Qatar is 113,938 with 3,121 active cases under treatment. So far, 190 people have died from coronavirus in the country.

The Ministry conducted 4.706 tests in the last 24 hours taking to 533,995 the total tests done so far. There have been 57 cases of hospital admissions in the last 24 hours. Three patients were admitted to intensive care due to health complications resulting from infection with the virus, bringing to 75 the total number of cases receiving treatment in intensive care.
