Qatar has recorded 271 new cases of Covid-19 today and 289 people recovered from the virus in the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of people recovered in Qatar to 111,794, according to the Ministry of Public Health.
Ministry has also announced one death of a person – aged 74 – who was receiving the necessary medical care.
The total number of positive Covid-19 cases recorded in the country is 115,080 and there are 3093 active cases under treatment. So far, 193 people died from the coronavirus in Qatar.
Ministry conducted 4,988 tests in the last 24 hours taking the total tests done so far to 55,1273 tests. There are 41 cases of hospital admissions in the last 24 hours.
Five patients were admitted to intensive care due to health complications resulting from the virus, bringing the total number of cases receiving medical care in intensive care currently to 74.
The Ministry has warned the public not to ignore the precautionary measures as the country is trying to avert a second wave of infections.
