DOHA: The Ministry of Public Health on Wednesday recorded 267 new cases of coronavirus with 256 people recovering from the virus in the last 24 hours, bringing to 117,746 the total number of people recovered.
Of the 267 new cases, 252 are community cases and 15 of travellers returning from abroad. The total number of positive Covid-19 cases recorded in Qatar is 120,846 with 2,895 active cases under treatment. So far, 205 people have died from coronavirus in Qatar.
The Ministry conducted 4,163 tests in the last 24 hours, taking to 672,099 the total tests done so far. There are 44 cases of hospital admissions in the last 24 hours, taking to 400 the total number of patients in hospital.
Two patients were admitted to intensive care due to health complications resulting from infection with the virus, bringing to 51 the total number of cases receiving treatment in intensive care.
