DOHA: The Ministry of Public Health on Thursday recorded 244 new cases of coronavirus with 213 people recovering from the virus in the last 24 hours, bringing to 119,613 the total number of people recovered in Qatar.
Of the 244 new cases, 227 are community cases and 17 of travellers returning from abroad.
The total number of positive Covid-19 cases recorded in Qatar is 122,693 with 2,872 active cases under treatment. So far, 208 people have died from coronavirus in Qatar.
The Ministry conducted 4,150 tests in the last 24 hours, taking to 709,132 the total tests done till date. There are 45 cases of hospital admissions in the last 24 hours, taking to 418 the total number of patients in hospital.
Seven patients were admitted to intensive care due to health complications resulting from infection with the virus, bringing to 58 the total number of cases receiving treatment in intensive care.
