DOHA: The Ministry of Public Health on Saturday recorded 236 new cases of coronavirus with 276 people recovering from the virus in the last 24 hours, bringing to 118,745 the total number of people recovered in Qatar.
Of the 236 new cases, 229 are community cases and seven of travellers returning from abroad. The total number of positive Covid-19 cases recorded in Qatar is 121,523 with 2,843 active cases under treatment. So far, 205 people have died from coronavirus in Qatar.
The Ministry conducted 5,206 tests in the last 24 hours, taking to 685,839 the total tests done till date. There are 42 cases of hospital admissions in the last 24 hours, taking to 401 the total number of patients in hospital.
One patients was admitted to intensive care due to health complications resulting from infection with the virus, bringing to 48 the total number of cases receiving treatment in intensive care.
