DOHA: The Ministry of Public Health on Tuesday recorded 235 new cases of coronavirus with 256 people recovering from the virus in the last 24 hours, bringing to 119,400 the total number of people recovered in Qatar.
Of the 239 new cases, 223 are community cases and 12 of travellers returning from abroad.
The total number of positive Covid-19 cases recorded in Qatar is 122,449 with 2,841 active cases under treatment. So far, 208 people have died from coronavirus in Qatar.
The Ministry conducted 4,568 tests in the last 24 hours, taking to 704,982 the total tests done till date. There are 36 cases of hospital admissions in the last 24 hours, taking to 415 the total number of patients in hospital.
One patient were admitted to intensive care due to health complications resulting from infection with the virus, bringing to 55 the total number of cases receiving treatment in intensive care.
