DOHA: The Ministry of Public Health on Friday recorded 235 new cases of coronavirus with 221 people recovering from the virus in the last 24 hours, bringing to 118,199 the total number of people recovered in Qatar.
Of the 235 new cases, 227 are community cases and eight of travellers returning from abroad. The total number of positive Covid-19 cases recorded in Qatar is 121,287 with 2,883 active cases under treatment. So far, 205 people have died from coronavirus in Qatar.
The Ministry conducted 4,071 tests in the last 24 hours, taking to 680,633 the total tests done till date. There are 43 cases of hospital admissions in the last 24 hours, taking to 375 the total number of patients in hospital.
Seven patients were admitted to intensive care due to health complications resulting from infection with the virus, bringing to 50 the total number of cases receiving treatment in intensive care.
