DOHA: The Ministry of Public Health on Sunday recorded 217 new cases of coronavirus with 207 people recovering from the virus in the last 24 hours. This brings to 118,682 the number of people recovered in Qatar.
Of the 217 new cases, 203 are community cases and 14 of travellers returning from abroad. The total number of positive Covid-19 cases stands at 121,740 in Qatar with 2,853 active cases under treatment. So far, 205 people have died from coronavirus in Qatar.
The Ministry conducted 5,192 tests in the last 24 hours, bringing to 691,031 the total tests done so far. There are 37 cases of hospital admissions in the last 24 hours, taking to 408 the total patients in hospital.
Four patients were admitted to intensive care due to health complications resulting from infection with the virus, bringing to 50 the total number of cases receiving treatment in intensive care.
