DOHA: Qatar voiced strong condemnation and denunciation of the explosion which took place in the Somali capital, Mogadishu, leaving at least 16 dead and injured. In a statement on Sunday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated the firm position of Qatar on rejecting violence and terrorism regardless of motives and reasons.
The statement expressed condolences to the families of the victims and to the government and people of Somalia, wishing the injured a speedy recovery.
