Doha: The General Traffic Department clarified that news about the change in the speed limit on certain roads being circulated on social media is incorrect.
On its Twitter account, the department wrote in Arabic (a rough translation) that, “We bring to the notice of the readers that what is being circulated about the change or modification of speed on some roads and tunnels is incorrect.”
The General Traffic Department also called on motorists to adhere to the specified speed limit on the road, and ensure their safety.
