DOHA: The Schools Evaluation Department of the Ministry of Education and Higher Education’s (MoEHE) Evaluation Affairs Sector on Sunday held a virtual meeting over Microsoft Teams with 150 private schools operating in Qatar.
The meeting introduced the private schools to the most recent evaluation updates for national and international accreditation, as well as private schools’ responsibility to promote the national identity.
The new updates would be an instrumental factor in the evaluation processes (preschools, mandatory evaluation and national school accreditation) during the 2020-21 academic year.
The meeting featured presentations made by Mona Mohammed Al Kuwari, Schools Evaluation Department manager; Nora Taher, Private School Section head and Nihad Ahmed, evaluation and accreditation consultant.
The speakers elaborated on the standards incorporated in the guidelines for mandatory evaluation and guidelines for national school accreditation in order to measure the private schools’ commitment to promoting the national identity.
