DOHA: Bhavyasree Rajesh, a Grade XI student of MES Indian School, came third and won a cash award of QR5,000 in the short film competition organised by the Ministry of Education and Higher Education for students of Grades 1 to12 in collaboration with the Doha Film Institute in April 2020. The theme of the contest was ‘The Bright Side’.
The competition, which was organised in three categories, aimed at providing students with new skills and discovering and sponsoring media talent as a meaningful platform for students in their free time. Rajesh received her certificate and cash award from Ms Balkis, Assistant Director of Public Relations & Communications. MES Indian School principal Hameeda Kadar congratulated the winner.
