DOHA: The Ministry of Municipality and Environment has chosen Katara Beach for farming 40,000 sha’am fish, as it is a natural reserve and a suitable environment for the breeding of the of fish.
Katara Beach is also appropriate due to restrictions on fishing and its environmental characteristics which make it a suitable site for the breeding of this type of fish in order to enrich fish stocks and to protect marine biodiversity of Qatar, Katara said a statement.
