DOHA: In a statement, Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC) has announced its operating hours for Ramadan. All emergency and inpatient services across HMC’s network of hospitals will operate  24/7, as usual. At Hamad General Hospital, outpatient clinics will be open from 8 am to 1 pm, Sunday to Thursday and evening clinics will be open from 8.30 pm to 11.30 pm, Sunday to Wednesday. The evening clinic at the Bone and Joint Center will be open from 1 pm to 5 pm, Sunday to Wednesday.

The main Outpatient Department (OPD) pharmacy, located on the ground floor of Hamad General Hospital will be open from 8 am to 1 pm and from 8.30 pm to 12 am (midnight), Sunday to Wednesday and from 8 am to 1 pm on Thursday.

Women’s Wellness and Research Center

Outpatient clinics will be open from 8 am to 1 pm Sunday to Thursday, from 7.30 pm to 10.30 pm Sunday to Wednesday, and the OPD pharmacy will be open during clinic times.

Ambulatory Care Center

Outpatient clinics will be open from 8 am to 1 pm, Sunday to Thursday, with afternoon clinics for GI/Endoscopy, Urology, Pre-Admission and Anaesthesia, and ENT open from 1 pm to 4 pm, Sunday to Thursday.

Communicable Disease Center

Outpatient clinics will be open from 8 am to 5 pm, Sunday to Wednesday, and from 8 am to 1 pm on Thursdays. All support services, including pharmacy, radiology and laboratory (phlebotomy), will be available during OPD clinic times.

Qatar Rehabilitation Institute

Outpatient clinics will operate from 8 am to 1 pm, Sunday to Thursday and the OPD pharmacy will be open during clinic times.

Heart Hospital

Outpatient clinics and the non-invasive service will be open from 8 am to 1 pm, Sunday to Thursday. There will be no evening clinics throughout Ramadan. The OPD pharmacy will operate from 8 am to 1 pm, Sunday to Thursday, and from 11 am to 4 pm on Fridays and Saturdays. The Cath Lab will operate from 7 am to 3 pm, with on-call services available for emergencies 24/7.

Rumailah Hospital

Outpatient clinics will be open from 8 am to 1 pm, Sunday to Thursday. All therapy services will be open from 7 am to 3 pm, Sunday to Thursday and OPD pharmacy services will operate from 8 am to 4 pm, Sunday and Tuesday and from 8 am to 3 pm, Monday, Wednesday and Thursday.

The Plastic Surgery service will be open from 8 am to 4 pm, Sunday and Tuesday and from 8 am to 1 pm, Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday. The Wound Care Clinic will be open from 7 am to 3 pm, Sunday to Thursday, and the Geriatric and Long-term Care service will be open from 8 am to 1 pm, Sunday, Monday, Wednesday and Thursday and from 8 am to 3 pm on Tuesdays. The Oral and Maxillofacial service will be open from 8 am to 1 pm, Sunday to Thursday, and will hold evening clinics from 8 pm to 11 pm, Sunday to Wednesday.

National Center for Cancer Care and Research

Outpatient clinics will be open from 8 am to 1 pm, Sunday to Thursday and from 1 pm to 4 pm on Mondays. OPD pharmacy services will be open from 8 am to 1.30 pm, Sunday to Thursday, and from 9 am to 2 pm on Saturdays. The Day Care Unit and Radiation Therapy Service will be open from 7 am to 3 pm, Sunday to Thursday.

Al Wakrah Hospital

Outpatient clinics will be open from 8 am to 4 pm, Sunday to Wednesday, from 8 am to 1 pm on Thursdays, and from 11am to 2pm on Saturdays. The Burns Surgery outpatient service will also be open from 7 am to 3 pm on Saturdays, and the physiotherapy service will be open from 7 am to 5 pm, Sunday to Thursday. The main OPD pharmacy, laboratory (phlebotomy) services and other support services will operate during OPD clinic times.

Hazm Mebaireek General Hospital


Outpatient clinics will be open from 8 am to 1 pm, Sunday to Thursday. The main OPD pharmacy will be open from 8am to 1pm, Sunday to Thursday.

The Cuban Hospital

Outpatient clinics and pharmacy services will be open from 7.15 am to 3 pm, Sunday to Thursday and dependent on appointments, OPD dental services will operate until 9 pm, Sunday to Thursday.

Al Khor Hospital

Outpatient clinics and OPD dental services will operate from 8 am to 1 pm, Sunday to Thursday. There will be no evening clinics during Ramadan.

Hamad Dental Center

Orthodontic and Paediatric Dentistry Clinics will be open from 8 am to 4 pm, Sunday to Wednesday and from 8am to 1pm on Thursday. Prosthodontics, endodontics, periodontics and dental diagnostic and surgical science services will operate from 8 am to 1 pm and from 8.30 pm to 11.30 pm, Sunday to Wednesday and from 8 am to 1 pm on Thursday.

Mental Health Services

Outpatient clinics and OPD pharmacy services will be open from 8 am to 1 pm, Sunday to Thursday and evening clinics will operate from 8.30 pm to 11.30 pm at Hamad General Hospital on Sunday, Tuesday and Wednesday. The Referral and Booking Management System (RBMS) will operate from 7 am to 10 pm, Sunday to Thursday. 

Nesma’ak Customer Care will operate from 7 am to 1 0pm, Sunday to Thursday and from 10 am to 4 pm on Friday and Saturday. Patients requiring information about scheduled appointments or clinic operating hours during Ramadan can call 16060 during these times. During Ramadan, Nesma’ak will continue to send mobile text message reminders to patients prior to their appointment. To confirm or change an appointment, call 16060.
