DOHA: Bangladesh Forum Qatar (BFQ) recently held a farewell reception for Ambassador of Bangladesh to Qatar Ashud Ahmed.
BFQ presented red mementos to the ambassador and his wife. The reception was conducted by Tasmia Priyanka. BFQ president Rashed Noman, former president Iftekhar Ahmed and other senior members spoke highly of the support and contribution of the ambassador towards the formation of BFQ.
The speakers recalled that the ambassador actively supported and took part in the events of the forum, highlighting his participation in the ‘Made in Bangladesh’ event.
Ahmed is expected to leave Doha by the end of this month to take up a new assignment as Bangladeshi Ambassador to Greece, concurrently with two other European countries.
