DOHA: As part of its efforts to improve services, Qatar Rail is demarcating 300 bus stops near Doha Metro stations across Qatar.
The bus stops, which will be painted red, would be demarcated off public streets adjacent to the stations. Buses can stop over the painted part of the street to allow passengers to get in and disembark.
Doha Metro resumed its services on 1 September as part of the fourth phase of lifting Covid restrictions. The rail authorities have implemented tough measures to prevent the spread of coronavirus.
