Al Mana Malls has unveiled plans for the opening of the QR1.5bn Doha Mall in February 2020. The only super-regional mall in south Doha is built on a plot of 125,000 sq. metres with a total of 270,000 sq. metres built-up area to produce around 100,000 sq. metres of gross leasable area (GLA). Doha Mall contains targeted retailers over three levels and 3,500 parking spaces.
Doha Mall will be catering to the needs of 25 per cent of Qatar’s population which resides within a 5-km radius of the mall. It expects a footfall of over one million visitors each month, owing to its location. Rony Mourani, General Manager, Al Mana Malls, said, “Right from the inception stage of Doha Mall we have been working closely with the authorities to ensure we are aligned with the country’s term strategy to diversify the economy and support the tourism industry.”
Doha Mall will be home to more than 250 retail stores, with over 14 anchor stores, a new FLiK Cinemas concept, 10 cinema screens, world-class bowling centre, high-tech family entertainment centre, trampoline and adventure park for children.
