Dhiafatina Hotels, a Qatar Airways subsidiary, has announced plans for Hyatt Regency Oryx Doha. The hotel, which has been owned by Qatar Airways since 2010, now joins Hyatt’s premier hotel portfolio.
Hyatt Regency Oryx Doha marks the first Hyatt Regency-branded hotel in Qatar and the third Hyatt in the country. Expected to open on 15 September, the property is currently taking reservations.

The hotel is strategically located close to Hamad International Airport and just a few minutes from the heart of the city, the Corniche and Doha’s business district, offering the perfect destination for both business and leisure travellers.
The property features 400 guest rooms, inclusive of 12 luxury suites, a multitude of social spaces, including a Regency Club and several authentic food and beverage concepts, including three restaurants, a pool bar, two lounges and a Jazz Club. There are 10,700 sq, ft of meetings and events facilities, including a state-of-the-art business centre, two ballrooms and 11 meeting and conference rooms.
Hyatt Regency Oryx Doha will be joining Hyatt’s portfolio in Qatar, alongside Park Hyatt Doha and Grand Hyatt Doha Hotel & Villas.
