DOHA: The Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) recorded 258 new cases of coronavirus on Monday with 291 people having recovered from the virus in the last 24 hours.
This brings to 114,099 the total number of people recovered in Qatar. All new cases have been placed in isolation and receiving necessary health care according to their health status.
The total number of positive COVID-19 cases recorded in Qatar is 117,266 with 2,973 active cases under treatment. MoPH reported the death of a 63-year old from the virus today. Till date, 194 people have died from coronavirus in Qatar.
The Ministry conducted 4,295 tests in the last 24 hours, taking to 594,215 the total done so far. There are 37 cases of hospital admissions in the last 24 hours. Two patients were admitted to intensive care due to health complications resulting from infection with the virus, bringing to 67 the total number of cases receiving treatment in intensive care.
