Commercial Bank (CB) has innovated for Eid an out-of-the-box gifting idea: e-Gift! The bank is paving the way for interesting gifting options with this new feature. e-Gift digital initiative is now available on the bank’s internet banking platforms as well as on its mobile app.
e-Gift is a feature that combines both the convenience and swiftness of electronic money transfer with the personalised touch of a greeting card, making it an ideal gift for Eid. For e-Gift transfers, customers enjoy two options: Either the transfer is completed through CB ATM networks in Qatar or the transfer is done to an international account as well as to a local one. Furthermore, recipients can withdraw cash at any Commercial Bank ATM with no need for a debit or credit card.
Customers who wish to benefit from this service are simply requested to login to CB’s Internet Banking or Mobile App, select “Send e-Gift,” enter the receiver’s details, then enter the cash amount, occasion and greeting message in addition to the delivery mode. As soon as the transfer is completed, the gift recipient shall be notified via SMS and email with an electronic greeting card with the personalised message on it. The recipient can then withdraw the amount from any CB ATM in Qatar. In addition to that, senders are able to see their animated gift envelope being filled with cash and flown away, whilst recipients receive a celebratory animation.
