DOHA: Barwa Real Estate Group in collaboration with Hamad Medical Corporation’s (HMC) Blood Donor Centre organised a blood donation campaign at Barwa headquarters on 8 September.
HMC provided a fully equipped mobile blood donation unit with a team of medical professionals. The organisation of this campaign comes as part of the social responsibility programme at Barwa Real Estate Group.
Barwa Real Estate Group Acting CEO Abdullah Jobara Al Rumaihi stressed on the importance of this initiative and its relationship with the group’s values.
“The blood donation campaign held by Barwa Group stems from our commitment to our role toward society and our strong belief in our role in supporting HMC Blood Donor Centre and other health institutions. Contributing to Qatari society is a fundamental pillar we are working to achieve,” said Al Rumaihi.
The campaign received a strong response from Barwa employees and other firms. The initiative contributes to providing the blood bank with necessary resources and saving the lives of other individuals.
