DOHA: The General Authority of Customs foiled an attempt to smuggle banned pills into the country through cargo. In a video posted on Twitter, the authorities said 140 Lyrica and 43 Captagon pills were hidden in 14 packets of sweets.
The authority has been issuing continuous warnings to those attempting to carry illegal substances into the country. Customs officials in the country are provided all means of support and continuous training to read the body language of passengers and awareness on latest methods followed by smugglers.
