The Public Works Authority (Ashghal) has announced the completion of beautification works on Al Ennabi Street. Amna Al Badr, Secretary, Supervisory Committee of Beautification of Roads and Public Places, Ashghal, said the project included the construction of pedestrian and cycle paths with a length of 1.7 km along Al Ennabi Street, with many trees and bushes embellishing the aesthetic appearance.
Al Ennabi Street, located in the western part of Doha in the Muaither area, is surrounded by residential and commercial facilities. The pedestrian tracks and cycle paths connect with Umm Al Doom Street and Al Rayyan Al Jadeed Street. The project also included the construction of 1.2 km of treated water network.
The cycle path along Al Ennabi Street has connected cycle paths beginning from Umm Al Dome Street up to Dukhan highway, linking many important spots such as Al Shafi Street, Education City, and Golf Club.This comes within the plan of the committee to implement a connected cycle path network in Qatar.
