DOHA: Area 23 Clubs, under Division F in District 116, Doha Bank Toastmasters, EF Toastmasters and Malaysian Toastmasters, have sponsored a Youth Leadership Programme (YLP) which would be conducted online for around 75 students in and outside Qatar.
The Youth Leadership Programme is a workshop comprising eight one- to two-hour sessions that enable young people under the age of 18 to develop their communication and leadership skills through practical experience.
The programme is conducted on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays in August and September in three groups.
The first group, sponsored by Doha Bank Toastmasters, is coordinated by TM Kunhikoya and assisted by TM Chandrani and TM Mahatab. The second group, sponsored by EF Toastmasters, is coordinated by TM Haseeb and assisted by TM Sruthy and TM Dileep.
The third group, sponsored by Malaysian Toastmasters, is coordinated by TM Sabari Prasad and assisted by TM Zurin and TM Yahana. All three YLP groups have the support, guidance and training from YLP mentors Shajil Kader DTM, TM Sajeev Kumar, Area 23 Director TM Sabari Prasad and other District 116 Toastmasters.
