DOHA: Al Duhail defeated Al Ahli 1-0 to be crowned champions of the QNB Stars League and lifted the Falcon Shield at Al Janoub Stadium on Friday.
The only goal was scored from a free kick by Edmilson in the 24th minute of the match, Al Duhail finished the season with 52 points, while Al Rayyan was the runners up. Al Duhail last won the title in the 2017-2018 season while Al Sadd was the winner last year.
